I am honoured to be asked to be the Chair of the Refinery and will bring to the body a direct knowledge and working experience of all of the Refinery 'Profiled' People.
By the terms of agreement of our current 120 members the work of the Refinery is strictly confidential between the members. As Chair I will be party to several confidential discussions which will be strictly private. This web site is not a forum open page group. It is an exclusive network. Should you have come across this site and wish to know more please contact me directly. Approval to the Refinery is put to the Refinery Board members on a six monthly basis.
As we all know the majority of Refinery members do not want their Profiles to be displayed on an open webpage. Those who have a public profile have generously agreed to allow their profiles to encourage interest from non-members who may have something to contribute to our work. All members have been given a route into the full member profiles which are to be treated with great respect and caution. Failure to do so will result in your removal from The Refinery.
My Key Role is to ensure our knowledge, skills and energies are directed to furthering the economic growth of this region. Your privacy is respected and it is presumed that in the main I will moderate discussions and developments within my capacity as the Chair.
