A steering group led by Colin Guthrie and supported by Sheffield City Council and the University of Hull recommended a web based forum that would constitute a new approach to collaboration between the existing manufacturing base based within the Sheffield / Hull region and an ever growing diverse community that wanted to benefit from the work that the group were engaged in. The Refinery is the result.
Purpose
The Refinery is a platform that enables Profiled People to leverage the wide skill base of the group to drive business and personal development.
Profiled People can seek opinions and advice from a diverse group who have a common desire to share best practice and learning. All contact is initially through the Chair.
